Big eyes attract growing brains
Have you ever wondered why babies stare so hard at you? Your eyes are amazing to them!Aren't we all captivated by lovely, big eyes? Your baby has a natural attraction to faces. While he is staring at you he is making a map of your face and memorising all your details. When you talk to him and sing to him, his experience is heightened to an interactive one. This stimulates his brain even further and really gets those brain-growing connections going.Widen baby's interactive experience by using props such as a face puppet on a stick . Even a very young baby will find a large face drawn onto a paper plate quite captivating. Sing "Baby Face" (lyrics below) by Bobby Darin to your baby while gently rocking your puppet to and fro in front of baby's eyes. Hold the puppet about 15 to 20cm away from his face.Baby faceYou've got the cutest little baby faceThere ain't nobody can ever take your placeYou baby faceMy poor hearts jumpingYou started somethingBaby faceWell I'm in heaven when I'm inYour, your fond embraceYeah I never need no shoveCuz I just fell I fell in love with yourPretty pretty baby faceLet's twist awhileBaby face, you know you got the cutest baby faceThey'll never be nobody to take your placeYou baby faceYou got my two knees knockingYou ain't the girl with a hole in your stockingBut you're a baby faceI'm in heaven when I'm in your fond embrace yeahI never need no shoveCuz I just fell in love with yourPretty pretty baby face
