Blue Bird loves to Whistle

Blue Bird flies in Early LEarning Music classBlue Bird loves to whistle and pre-schoolers love trying to! Whistling is fun, and its good for you. Whistling encourages deep breathing. Deep breathing can help relaxation. Whistling strengthens the mouth muscles and exercises the tongue in ways that talking, laughing and singing cannot do. Just give it a go and you will see what I mean. Whistling makes us feel happy and raises our mood. What notes can your pre-schooler whistle? Encourage him by listening to videos of real birds whistling or people whistling....maybe you could whistle for him?
